Parmi les nombreux festivals de cet été se déroulant au UK, Le Wireless Festival de Leeds et Londres veut aussi faire sa place.
Comme beaucoup au Royaume-Uni, le Wireless Festival se tient le même week-end sur deux villes différentes, vous l'aurez compris, Leed et londres.
Hyde Park pour la scène londonnienne et Harewood House pour celle de Leeds.
Pendant quatre jours, les artistes seront présents à tour de rôle à Leeds et Londres sur la même période.
Good Shoes, nouveau petit péhnomène anglais (billet à suivre, c'est promis!) vient de s'ajouter à la déjà très longue liste de cette programmation.

Une dernière chose! Le festival annoncent ses partenaires sur son site, ils sont les suivants :
Lite, HMV, Galaxy, BBC 4, Virgin, NME, Last.FM, XM radio et Autorocker. Je ne crois pas avoir vu de produits isssus d'un Satr Académie locale ni de Nouvele Star. Comme quoi, le financement par des "marques" aident plutôt dans le bon sens la diversité musicale et la culture en générale!

Veuillez m'excuser, je me suis perdu un petit peu en chemin sur ce blogg. En effet, j'ai voulu exprimer mes opinions sur un certain point, ce pourquoi je me suis fait traité de faciste capitaliste. Pour le moins, c'est Voltaire qui est en train de se retourner dans sa tombe!
Juste pour le fun et par ce que lui, au moins dit ce qu'il pense, Dan Le Sac est un DJ à la côte moyenne en GB, la rencontre avec Scroobius Pip (chanteur) fait de ce duo une des grandes promesses de l'année. A suivre donc.....

The Klaxons mettent en route le deuxième! | 24 avril 2007

Myths Of The Near Future était le titre du premier album des Klaxons, sorti en Janvier 2007.
A peine le temps de l'user sur les routes, voilà que le suivant est déjà en préparation.
C'est du moins ce qu'annonce Simon Taylor, actuellement en tournée aux US.
Celui-ci laisse entendre qu'ils vont définitivement classé la vague "new-rave" pour sortir un album "prog", comprenez "progressive". Ce qui signifie des chansons très très longues, des chants très très hauts perchés. Certains comme les Pink Floyd, King Crimson ou encore Genesis sont les pionniers de ce mouvement du rock. Suelement, le progressif a fait son temps et c'était en 1960. Aujourd'hui les Klaxons sont bien à l'origine de la création de la "new-rave" pourquoi ne seraient-ils pas à l'origine de la "new-prog". Les critques vont s'en donner à coeur joie!

La Folk A La Mode Californienne | 23 avril 2007

La folk est plus à la mode qu'elle n'a jamais été. Le chanteur folk californien, Devendra Banhart, annonce la sortie de son prochain album.
Cripple Crow, son précédent album, avait pour single I Feell Just Like A Child -bande son de la pub Scénic en france-.
L'album est en préparation aux studios Topagnada Canyon -Californie- et se réalise avec le soutien de quelques noms de la chanson américaine - totalement inconnue en Europe- Andy Cabic, Joanna et Peter Newsome.
Aucune date de sortie n'est aujourd'hui avancée. La Folk renaîtrit elle de ses cendres?
